After huge struggle with the members on Saturday, the team had 12 players in its disposal for the game, sadly no professional keeper was available but again huge thanks to Stefan who took the responsibility despite being injured.

The formation for the game was continuation of second half from the game on Saturday with 3-5-2 and focusing a little bit more on defense. As the team roster is not stable the players are forced to play on the position they are not familiar with so first half was more of trying to hold the ball in the middle and keeping formation. Awesome job from the players at keeping solid formation and covering free zones, apparently the tactical lessons were really helpful as the movement without a ball was really good. Also it’s good to point at out that we are improving in talking and helping each other.

Despite focusing strongly on defense during first half Brandt make a beautiful run and tried a header but was a little bit unlucky. Also few corners and few long shots can be added as a plus but most importantly the opponents had no real chances.

Second half was in the same pace but as our subs line is a little bit short so we didn’t have the ability to press the opponents as we should. We have really good chances to score: almost one on one for Yurko after Vittorios pass, good strike from Patrick, shot from Sebastian after corner and quite a few opportunities in the middle where we were too barselona instead of doing long shots.

The tam conceded to unlucky goals: one from the corner (which was ref mistake) and one as a rebound from the wing play. But that was basically the only chances opponents had.

The 3-5-2 formation requires a lot of hard work on the pitch and the wingers did a good job of covering whole line.

To sum it up: it was really good game where we started playing as a team, fulfilling the required roles and communicating with each other. Hope we can continue to play like this and then the result will come.
